The idea of Pete’s Dive Club is to bring people together to go diving on a regular basis, in an enjoyable and safe atmosphere, at an affordable price.

…add a little ‘adventure’ to your life!

The benefits of being in the club are:

  • 10% off Great Barrier Reef Dive Trips. Gain Free Membership to Pete’s Dive Club when booking a Barrier Reef trip. This is done to give Pete’s Dive club higher numbers in membership. (Higher numbers means better discounts.)
  • Regular Diving. Every second weekend we are out diving and sometimes more, Bass point, Bushrangers Bay, The Arch, The Gutter; Kiama Sponge Gardens, Gerroa , Black Head Sponge Gardens. Jervis Bay, Honeymoon Bay. Several Trips away each semester- ie, Jervis Bay and Ulladulla. Great Barrier Reef Trips can be booked any time of the year.
  • Affordable gear hire. Peter has 51 Cylinders in various sizes, 30 sets of regs & gauges, 83 BCD’s, 185 suits to choose from, 120 hoods, 150 pairs of boots, 80 sets of fins, 32 redundant air supplies (spare air). 60 masks & snorkels and a mini bus.

Membership costs per year $10 for students and $25 for others. But can be attained free of charge. For example if you are a Divemaster or Instructor and prepared to escort other divers free of charge membership is free, have a car and prepared to take at least 3 people who do not have their own transport, membership is free. Have a car with a tow bar and prepared to tow a trailer of scuba gear, membership is free. Have a car (Ute or Van) and prepared to take Pete’s BBQ to dive sites membership is free. In other words, if you can provide a service that will assist in the running of the club membership is free. If you are a non diver membership is free. And if you do a scuba course through Peter again membership is free. “That is where the club is subsidized from”.

Bass Point has too many dive sites to mention, Bushrangers Bay, The Arch, The Gutter, just to name a few. Kiama has its beautiful sponge gardens, Gerroa has its sponge gardens off the point with great shallow diving in close, Jervis Bay is simply great everywhere, sponges, massive rock formations, scenery, you just can’t get better. Ulladulla with sponge gardens that rival the Great Barrier Reef they are that good, Montague Island where The Australian Fur Seals are the most playful and one of the best experiences you will ever encounter.
