Coral Sea Safari -Exploratory Itinerary
7 nights / 6 dive days – Unlimited diving (approx. 27 dives)
The itinerary varies to take advantage of dive site and weather conditions.

Prime dives sites
All dive sites are more than 150 kilometres north of Cairns.
This itinerary has been designed to include the ‘prime’ Ribbon Reef sites that have restricted access.
Spoilsport’s outstanding stability minimises disruption to your itinerary and your diving experience.
Ribbon Reefs – Challenger Bay, Cod Hole, Cod Wall
The adventure begins with two spectacular dive sites
Explore pristine coral gardens at Challenger Bay … you will understand why the G is in GBR.
Buddy up with diver size fish at the world famous Cod Hole!
Take unique photographs of these friendly inquisitive oversized fish.
Explore the rarely dived Cod Wall on the outer reef edge that plummets to 60 meters.
Find decorator crabs, egg cowry shells and crayfish amongst the coral on the night dive.
Cruise 100 miles overnight to Osprey Reef in the Coral Sea

North Horn, Amphitheatre, Admiralty Anchor, Fast Eddies, Pelagic Gulley
Welcome to the big blue!
Enjoy 40 meter (132ft) visibility with spectacular walls disappearing to 1000metres.
At North Horn swim with giant potato cod, napoleon wrasse, tuna and barracuda.
Explore spectacular walls adorned with massive soft corals and gorgonians.
Seek out the commonly seen green and loggerhead turtles.
Photograph the resident grey & silvertip whaler sharks & white tip reef sharks.
Descend to the manta cleaning station at Fast Eddies.
Hang with hammerhead sharks off the wall, April – October.
Witness 30 sharks in a feeding frenzy at the Amphitheatre.
Then follow the itinerary to further Ribbon Reef s such as - Dynamite Pass, Lighthouse, Pixie Pinnacle, Vertical Gardens, Pixie Garden, Andy’s Postcard, Clam Beds, Steve’s Bommie, Flare Point.
